think cable tv is too expensive? well consider yourself blessed cause for less then $20/month u can enjoy 20-25 channels for a period of 12months. this promotion emphasises on the 50% discount that u cant find any where else, be it a starhub shop or those MRT promoters. the usual price is about 30plus, so if u noe math. the price ive mentioned above is not a scam. GST and rental fee (around $4) is already calculated. the promotion has 3 packages, it may sound racist but there is one for each specific ethnic group, mandarin people are given VV drama, malays are given sensai, indians will have vijay.
there are 7 groups of channels, lifestyle, education, entertainment, chinese infotain, chinese entertain, world news and kids. you can choose 3 out of these 7. your chosen groups are also interchangeable for free. but please do so at the start of each month's billing cycle. call 1633 to do so. each group has about 4-6 channels. so multiply by 3, adding 5 free international channels, and your preset channel - vv drama, sensai or vijay. that is around minimum 18 channels for less than 20 dollars. one channel = ~ $1
